these ram prices are ridiculous… guess i won’t be building computers for a while…

It’s unlikely to get any better in the near future, why not just build a PC with whatever RAM you can afford? Handhelds like the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Legion Go, all only have 16GB RAM and they tend to be capable of playing pretty much any game on the market (at reduced graphical settings with their weak GPUs.) 16GB may not seem ideal but, it’s only about $100 for the time being.
There’s a upsurge of people buying used computers just for the RAM
